You feel the constant pressure to perform, which shows up as tightness in your chest and belly and clenching your jaw.
You feel anxious and can’t remember the last time you felt really relaxed.
You give love, grace, and understanding to others, but your inner critic is so loud and demanding, you can’t seem to convince yourself that you deserve the same love and care.
You have a healthy relationship with your romantic partner, but you can’t shake the fear that it’s going to fall apart, like no matter how much you try and how hard you love, it won’t be enough to make them stay.
You’re afraid to speak up and go after the things you need and want.
In other words, if you’re reading this page, you’re trying to do all the right things, but something just feels off in you’re life and it needs to change.
You’ve likely been to therapy before and are ready to dive back in to your healing journey. You’re ready to find clarity on your next step towards the life you truly want.
However you arrived here, I’m so glad you found me. Read on to find out if counseling for millennial women in Seattle is right for you.
If this is you:
What if you are innately worthy?
What if you could feel confident and comfortable in your own skin?
What if you could breathe deeply without the weight of fear and perfectionism pressing down on your chest?
I specialize in empowering women in Seattle and Washington.
Women have never been given permission to slow down. There are so many cultural narratives and expectations that tell women what they should look and act like, encouraging them to put themselves last.
Let’s resist and push back against this unhealthy cultural narrative.
We’ll unpack this together and you will have the space to figure out what’s actually important to you.
You get to decide. You can explore different options and change your mind.
I believe that each of us know what is truly best for us. Sometimes we just need a little encouragement to step into our own power, so we can speak up, step out, and create the life we want.
How I help women with anxiety and perfectionism…
Not only have I worked with motivated, high achieving women (probably just like you!) and walked with them through anxiety management and perfectionism recovery, I’ve also gone through my own journey of feeling the tension of anxiety and the weight of perfectionism.
I have found that connection with self, awareness of and care for the body, and support from other women and healers can make all the difference on a healing journey.
I’ve also found (as cheesy as it sounds) that love is the key - the more we’re able to love all the parts of ourselves (especially the parts we’d rather suppress or fix), the lighter we feel.
It’s loving ourselves, not fixing ourselves that enables the changes we so desire.
By infusing my clinical training with my own experiences, I’m able to more fully see your experience as a women while guiding you through a journey to empowerment, self-love, and self-trust.
I’m here to support you in creating the life you want.
When clients work with me they feel more confident.
They are more comfortable taking up space and speaking their truth.
They know how to care for themselves.
They offer themselves love and compassion.
Are you ready to feel better?
Get started with Counseling for Perfectionistic, Anxious Women in Seattle
Like the women I work with, you deserve to feel confident in your own skin. To feel more like a badass, and less like a doormat. You deserve to care for yourself and deeply love every part of yourself.
If you’re ready to work together, you’ll get clarity on your values and how to live them out. You’ll also build self-trust so you can confidently know what is right for you.
You’ll build self-compassion and self-love, and your inner critic will feel like it can take a break. Through this process, you’ll release tension and learn how to soothe feelings of anxiety. You’ll build skills and tools to do less and love yourself more.
