Immediate Crisis Response:

  • In life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or your local emergency number.

  • Contact Crisis Connections: 24-Hour Crisis Line at 1-866-427-4747. This hotline provides immediate assistance to individuals experiencing a crisis. They are a primary source for linking residents to emergency mental health services in King, Pierce, Clark, Skamania, Klickitat, Grant, Okanogan, Chelan, and Douglas Counties.

Legal and Protective Services:

  • Adult Protective Services (APS): APS investigates and intervenes in cases of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults. Contact the APS hotline at 1-866-EndHarm (1-866-363-4276) if you suspect an adult is being mistreated.

  • Child Protective Services (CPS): CPS responds to concerns of child abuse and neglect. If you suspect a child is in immediate danger, contact 911. Otherwise, report concerns to your local CPS office or call the Washington State Child Abuse Hotline at 1-866-ENDHARM (1-866-363-4276).
